Education Program Information

Several times throughout the year, we participate in school-wide special programs. Some of these hands-on experiences are holiday-based like our Tu B’shevat in the park and others are ritual based, like our naming ceremony. Many of these programs are times when our parents join us to learn and experience along with their children. Additionally, we work to create meaningful social action experiences with our kids and congregants together. Not only do we take part in TBY’s annual Mitzvah Day; we also encourage our classes to choose a mitzvah project that they participate in throughout the year.

The first Friday of each month is a 7:00 Shabbat B’Yachad service, which is a family-friendly experience with many students participating in leading the worship. We invite you to celebrate Shabbat with us. This year, we will be starting up a youth band who will be ready to rock out at these services!

These and other creative events enhance the overall religious, educational and community experience at TBY, encouraging members of all ages to appreciate the beauty and relevance of their heritage.
