Cards Featuring the Hart Windows are now available for sale! The New Year's cars feature all three windows on one card. Join us in purchasing a permanent brick at the Temple. Bricks may be engraved with text and symbols if desired. For more information You can help the environment and temple at the same time. Bring your empty computer printer cartridges to temple. We shall redeem them for coupons at Office Depot which we then use toward the purchase of recycled copy paper. This saves temple money, and it helps keep our country "green". Everyone wins! As many of you know, we have a temple e-mail list to send announcements. If you did not receive an e-mail last month from atty1981@aol.com (Subject line: Temple Bat Yam announcements), your e-mail is not on the list. Please send an e-mail to templebatyam@aol.com and we will add your address to our list. To avoid burdening members with unwanted e-mail, we do not add your e-mail address to the list automatically (from membership applications or other email communication). We must receive a request from you to be added. The Sisterhood raises funds each year to purchase flowers and greenery to beautify the Bimah for the High Holidays services at Parker Playhouse. A booklet is published with the tributes and acknowledgments. Additional volunteers are needed to work with the florist and prepare the Flower Fund booklet (a computer and basic word processing skills are needed to help with the booklet). If you, or someone you know needs a ride to services we have drivers waiting to hear from you so you may attend Friday evening and/or Shabbat morning services Please call Jeanne at (954) 970-2410 to register as a driver if you can provide this valuable service or if you are in need of a ride. CLUB 50 is our Temple's Senior Social Club. We meet on specific Sunday's from November to April at a different restaurant each month for a price fixed complete dinner and then return to the Social Hall at the Temple for our brief meeting and entertainment. |
