The Sanctuary of Temple Bat Yam is home to stained glass windows designed and created for the congregation by nationally acclaimed Chicago artist Charlotte Hart. The Hart Windows are the gift of Dr. Beatrice Loewenherz, in memory of her late husband Walter B. Loewenherz and family. The windows are an artistic interpretation of two passages from "Pirkei Avot", the "Saying of the Fathers" in the Mishnah: "The world is sustained by ... Torah, worship and deeds of loving-kindness", and "The world is sustained by ... justice, truth and peace". Each window represents two of these core values of Jewish tradition. Visitors are welcome.
