RELIGIOUS SCHOOL
The Temple Bat Yam Religious School provides education in Jewish traditions, prayers, values and Hebrew. Our program begins with Torah for Tots at age four, and continues through Confirmation and grade ten. We offer many special family services and activities, including Jewish music, computers, Israeli folk dancing and Judaic fine arts. These events help Jewish children to utilize their knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of their heritage. Our goal at Temple Bat Yam Religious School is to develop students who are proud of their rich heritage and can practice their faith with dignity. Religious School classes meet each Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon for children from pre-school to grade ten. Students in grades three through seven also attend classes on Tuesday afternoon from 4:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. Pre-Bar and Bat Mitzvah students study directly with the Rabbi in preparation for this milestone event. Grades eight through ten constitute the Madregah division of our school, which leads to Confirmation. In addition to Sunday morning classes, Madregah students and their families meet periodically for breakfast with the Rabbi. Regular Family Education experiences are scheduled throughout the school during the year.

PRE-SCHOOL
Kids Learning Academy at Temple Bat Yam, open Monday through Friday, enrolls children from 1 through 5 years. A flexible schedule of days and hours is offered. The Preschool also provides extended care and afternoon enrichments. The Preschool offers a close association with our congregation and our Rabbi.
ADULT EDUCATION
Classes meet on Mondays evenings. An ongoing Bible study group meets with the Rabbi each Tuesday morning. Torah study is also an integral part of our Shabbat evening and morning worship. Additional programs of adult study are offered during the year, including speakers and Havdalah Forums which offer opportunities for discussion on topics of Jewish interest.
